65th Anniversary Sapphire Jubilee Weekend
On October 3–4, 2025, we had a powerful weekend of celebration, vision, and community as we honored 65 years of justice, leadership, and transformation through the work of the John & Vera Mae Perkins Foundation.
This milestone event brought together leaders in faith, business, philanthropy, education, and advocacy—people committed to shaping the future while honoring the shoulders we stand on.
We were honored to welcome Dr. Derwin Gray—former NFL standout turned nationally recognized pastor, author, and voice for reconciliation and leadership—as our keynote speaker for the evening. After six seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers, Dr. Gray transitioned from the field to the frontlines of faith and justice. His message will challenge and inspire us to lead with courage, clarity, and conviction in today’s changing world.
