Perkins Foundation Gala with Bryan Stevenson

Join us for an evening of celebration and inspiration as we come together to promote reconciliation, justice, and Christian community development. This is a can’t-miss event in celebration of 63 years of service by the John & Vera Mae Perkins Foundation. Our event will take place on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023, at 6:00 PM CST at the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum, located at 222 North Street, Jackson, MS 39201.

Our keynote speaker is Bryan Stevenson, founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative, a human rights organization in Montgomery, Alabama. He was depicted in the 2019 legal drama film Just Mercy, based on his 2014 memoir Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption.

Together, we’ll enjoy delicious food, live entertainment, and inspiring words from community leaders who are working tirelessly to promote justice and reconciliation in our city and across the country. We’ll also have the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and learn more about the important work being done by the John & Vera Mae Perkins Foundation in our community and across the country.

The attire is Formal or Black Tie. We hope to see you there!
